Earth's energy and the importance of wearing a skirt

Traditional Eastern philosophies describe the profound interaction between the energy of the Earth and that of the human physical body, and the strong connection between the feminine energy and the natural attraction of the Earth. Understand that the nature of women, with its ebbs and flows, is positive and powerful, gives us the opportunity to heal and live in a balanced and healthy way.

According to some oriental beliefs, the body of women differs from that of men in that the energy of the Earth rises through our body and penetrates it. This feminine energy "attracts inward", is a centripetal force, and is irresistible. It is so powerful that if you live in a family environment, most family members revolve around the person who has the greatest centripetal energy - usually the mother - and when they are not, they notice it sharply. The children keep their complaints to tell their mother at the end of the day if she has not been home. My daughters always want to know where I am when I am at home. If I leave a room, before a minute passes they call me: "Mom, where are you?" When they were younger they always had to be with me in the same room. I could not take a bath alone until the oldest turned nine. Instead, when the girls were little, my husband had to be away much longer than me for them to notice. That centripetal energy of the woman is in operation when the baby is put to the breast, and when she accepts the penis in her vagina (if heterosexual) and her ovum makes chemical signals to the sperm so that they swim towards him.

Michio Kushi, the macrobiotic teacher who was the first to write about this form of energy for Western readers, points out that the centripetal force of the Earth that rises by the feet is also present in men, as well as the force of heaven, which It goes down and enters the body through the head (centrifugal force), it is also present in women. What differs is the degree to which each energy is present. In general, in women there is more energy on Earth that goes up. I have been told that the women of the Navajo people wear skirts because that increases the body's access to that energy of the Earth through the circle that forms the skirt (see figure below).

Centripetal energy is a connecting force that influences all the people around us, because women tend to be the center of family life, which we assume the psychological responsibility for the well-being of other family members. Therefore, when a woman improves her life, the whole family generally benefits (whether she has children or not). She sets the tone. The well-being of the family and that of society depend on women being healthy and staying healthy. Part of the creation of health is to understand the power of female energy and its implications. The health of a woman's loved ones is directly linked to her personal health. So we have to take the time we need to heal. We owe it to ourselves first.

The centripetal force - which attracts inward - is just a way of describing the feminine energy. We also have seven specific energy centers in the body called chakras . Normally the emotional and psychic factors affect the female body and its energy centers, the chakras. Don't be surprised if you feel some resistance to hearing this information. Don't blame yourself for past events that have caused unhealthy behaviors in your present life. Simply observe them and the healing process begins.
