The dynamics of thought, by Parvathi Kumar

It is a method of acting consciously with our own thoughts. When we look at our thoughts it is amazing to see how many varieties of thoughts are in our being from time to time. These thoughts vary from good to bad and even ugly. Let's not unduly worry about our unpleasant thoughts. Let them remain. But let's start working with thoughts that comfort us and others.

Many times what is comforting to us is unpleasant to others. The motto of the Sages in this regard is:

"Let's not do to others what we don't want them to do to us." Thought motivates the organism and therefore the reason for the thought keeps the human organism pure or the opposite. Let's find out the reason when we act, to see if it is an altruistic motive on our part or to use others for our benefit.

If it is for mutual benefit, the motive is pure; If it is only for the benefit of others, it is divine. If it is totally for us and is detrimental to others, it is diabolical.

When our orientation is that of giving ourselves completely to life, we are not victims of the result. Our actions have no tension as long as the actions are not oriented towards a result.

The man of the twentieth century so completely oriented towards the result, lives in the ups and downs of tension due to his attachment to the result.

In Nature there is a functioning, but it is not a functioning by a result. Orientating towards the result does not allow us to act skillfully. It takes pleasure, joy and happiness to do things. Happiness is continuous while we are doing something. We propose to be happy when getting results is to postpone happiness to the future event, and that event is also momentary. The results are milestones in our trip. We cannot stop at each milestone to rejoice and then continue traveling.

The trip itself is joy and the milestones go by as we travel happily. Later the trip is continuous, but stops when we stop to rejoice in each milestone.

Acting is like traveling and the results are like milestones. Even when the trip is complete, the joy is not as great as the one we experience while traveling. There is a saying that says: "Happiness is not at the end of the road." Let's reflect on this.

The curator's thought is Healing. For the energy of Healing to flow he has to connect with the life around him, the life that is inherent in the forms. The healer has to project this vital energy through thought.

Its rule of conduct must be: "goodwill for all and malice for anyone."

You cannot have negative thoughts if you want energy to flow. Negative thoughts impede the flow. Distrust, envy, fear, anger and irritation hamper the flow of vital energy.
