Juice or Smoothie? I am often asked which of the two methods is better for cleaning and health maintenance. The main difference between the two is that in one when you mix the vegetables keep the pulp (and therefore the fiber) in the drink and in the other not ... but which one is better?


This eliminates all the fiber in vegetables and offers a direct source of chlorophyll, which does not require digestion. Vegetable juice is the best way to hydrate the body and fill it with enzymes, minerals, vitamins and potent phytonutrients. It's like receiving a transfusion of all the good things your body can use to generate new cells, and the effects are very fast!

When you make only juices fasting, you give your body a physiological break from the digestion of food. This allows the body to enter the "house cleaning" mode called autolysis, which is the digestion of damaged cells. Autolysis usually begins on the third day of your juice fast. It is a total reset!

When the fiber is removed and you drink the juices from the plant, you allow your body to expel masses of waste at the cellular level, and since it has less obstruction at the cellular level, the body is better able to absorb nutrients from food, therefore, they require less food to feed you.

This technique, on the other hand, allows you to make delicious smoothies. One of the biggest advantages of this is that they can be super-packed meals in a single container.

Even so, I recommend chewing your shakes because when you make a food purée, you are skipping the pre-digest chewing step that allows saliva enzymes to be released. Over time, this can charge the body of energy, as it requires the pancreas to release additional enzymes to separate the liquid from the fiber and digest properly.
