LETTER IX

FUTURE MEDITATION SCHOOLS

1. The basic school.

2. Your national subdivisions.

3. Location, staff and school buildings.

4. Degrees and classes.

September 26, 1920.

In this letter I will deal with Future Meditation Schools; I will try to demonstrate how the training and development indicated in other letters will be applied; I will prophesy about what will one day be possible and what is not yet feasible in any way. It is convenient to maintain high ideals, because the human mind always looks forward and towards a predestined goal. If what I am going to outline here seems like an impossible vision, it is only because I try to present an ideal and provide the race with a goal that is worthy of the greatest efforts.

Preliminary remarks

Let us pause a moment and establish certain postulates regarding the present, which in some way prepares the ground for future action.

The value of meditation is being accepted everywhere. Concentration Schools and mental development methods are announced in the newspapers. But true meditation is still poorly understood. Concentration is nothing more than the basis on which future work is to be built. The structure cannot yet be erected due to two main causes:

to. The inability inherent to man, currently, to reach the causal level and the awareness of that level.

b. The absence of a Master in physical body, suitable and competent, to teach the really scientific development, the goal of true meditation.

The turbulent condition of the world at present is a sufficient barrier that prevents the general acceptance of training and scientific development of vehicles.

I establish here these premises as a starting point. It is undeniable that some individuals reach the goal, others come to dominate the occult meditation system and obtain the desired progress; but these constitute a very small number, and even more so when compared with the vast array of incarnated human beings at the same time. Those few succeeded by the effort made during times and because in previous lives they trampled the path or were close to the portal of initiation. But even the man of medium intelligence (product, for example, of Western civilization), is far from being prepared for esoteric training. Experiments are now being carried out, in many cases unknown to the entities themselves, in order to see how quickly man can be impelled, through experience and a general acceleration of the evolutionary process, towards a condition where it will not be dangerous to give him more training. There are people in many civilized countries who are supervised, applying a method of stimulation and intensification, which will inform the Great Beings of an accumulation of information., which will guide Lesser in His future efforts for the good of the race. It especially treats people residing in America, Australia, India, Russia, Scotland and Greece. Some individuals in Belgium, Sweden and Austria are also under observation. If they get to respond as expected, they will form a nucleus that will expand.

Future Schools of Meditation.

In dealing with this issue, as is our custom, we will subdivide it into different acits, namely:

1. The true and only fundamental school.

2. Your national subdivisions.

3. The location, staff and buildings of the school.

4. Degrees and classes.

First of all I would like to emphasize, vehemently, that everything I say here is part of a provisional plan, whose purpose is to accelerate the evolution of the higher mind and control the bodies of men by the power of Inner God This plan has been formulated taking into account the clamorous and urgent need of the world, where the mental faculties of man are increasing out of all proportion, if compared to emotional balance and his team. psycho The rapid advance of knowledge, the diffusion of pedagogical systems, which puts the product of numerous minds within reach of the very poor, the ability of everyone to read and write, especially in countries Those of America and in the Anglo-Saxon races have been the cause of a really serious problem (almost unexpectedly) for the Great Beings.

Mental development must be an aspiration for all, provided that it is accompanied by emotional stability and a healthy body. But now we have a mental development, accompanied by astral instability and a weak, malnourished and deficient physical body. From there comes disorder, lack of balance, obscuration of vision and disproportionate discussions. The lower mind instead of being a means to an end and an instrument to be used, is on its way to becoming regent and tyrant, preventing the action of intuition and excluding the abstract mind.

Consequently, the Masters have a project in motion, if it can be fulfilled in some way, whose purpose is to methodize the lower mind using the individuals themselves. With this objective in view, they plan to use the incoming Ray of Ceremonial Law or Organization and the period immediately coinciding, or the next, at the advent of the Great Lord, to initiate these Schools (initially limited and inconspicuous) and bring the following four fundamental points to the conscience of man:

to. The history of the evolution of man, from the mental aspect.

b. The septenary constitution of the macro and microcosm

C. The laws that govern the human being.

d. The occult development method.

This work has already begun ..., through the different schools that currently exist ... They constitute the principles of the plan. When they are firmly entrenched, they work without difficulties and are publicly recognized; when the world of men has been nuanced by them and by their subjective emphasis; When they leave school and workers, politicians and scientists and also pedagogues who can make their influence felt in the environment, perhaps the time has come to establish the true occult school with an exoteric character. By this I mean that if the primitive schools and colleges satisfactorily carry out their work, they will have demonstrated to the world of men that the subjective is the true reality and that the inferior is nothing more than the step towards the superior. This subjective reality, once universally admitted, will allow to found a chain of internal schools ..., which will be publicly recognized. However, it will always be necessary to have an esoteric and secret section, since there will be certain truths and facts whose knowledge is dangerous for the uninitiated; but here I want to point out that the mysteries will be timely accepted as realities, so that they are universally recognized as universal goals and objectives. The aspirants to these mysteries will come from schools that, definitively and under expert guidance, will be separated for the internal schools. These schools have existed before and, with the turning of the wheel, will return to the demonstration.

They may wonder when will it be? It depends on humanity itself and on all of you, who with faith and aspiration work at the initiation of the plan.

HPB laid the foundation stone of the first school in this particular minor cycle (which is nonetheless relatively important, being a shoot of the fifth root race, the outcrop of the fifth principle). This is the key stone. The founding work of the various schools continues, and those of mental science also have their place. The plan will move forward as desired if each of those receiving esoteric training devotes all their strength and energy to the task. Sise does all that is possible, when the Great Lord comes with His Masters, the task will receive another impetus and will gradually expand and grow, until it becomes a power in the world. The day will come when occult schools will prepare men for initiation.

September 27, 1920.

Today we are going to deal with the first of the points listed, because only when the foundations are correctly constructed can the superstructure meet the required conditions.

The true and only Basic School.

It is therefore very essential to highlight the fact that it does not matter which subsidiary schools are. Basic occult school is one that has its roots in the sacred center of the planet, Shamballa. In this place, directly guarded by Initiator One, which is - although rarely understood - the highest expression of the Teaching Ray on Earth, there is what could be called the central office, for the task of disciplinary and educational training Hierarchy There is the Chohan responsible for the various companies, and before Him are directly responsible the Masters who accept disciples and the leaders of the various occult schools. Everything is developed according to a law and order.

Something I want to emphasize is that the Fraternity of Light, represented by the Himalayan Masters, has representatives elsewhere, who perform specific work under proper supervision. Theosophists believe they are the only repositories of the Religion of Wisdom. However, it is not so. At this particular moment (in order to develop and offer the opportunity to the fifth subrace) the Brotherhood of the Himalayas is the main channel of effort, power and light. But the work carried out with other races continues simultaneously, and numerous projects, coming from the central office in Shamballa, are developed in parallel with the task of the Himalayan Fraternity. Keep this in mind because it is important. The Himalayan School and Lodge mainly deals with the West, being the only school without exception, which must control the work and contribution of occult students in the West. He will not accept from the disciples competing or extemporaneous work, not for the benefit of his Instructors, but for the safety of his disciples. The danger lurks in the path of the student of occultism, and the Himalayan Adepts know how to adequately protect their disciples, provided they remain within the periphery of His united auras and do not divert to other schools. All true occult schools demand this from their disciples, and true Masters expect them to refrain from receiving other esoteric instructions at the same time. The Masters do not say: "Our method is the only correct and true one." They say "as long as they receive our instructions it would be wise and prudent to refrain from receiving training from another school or another Teacher." If the disciple wishes it, he has perfect freedom to look for other schools and other Instructors, but first he has to break his previous connections.

The core central school can be recognized for certain outstanding characteristics:

The basic character of the truths it teaches, contained in the following postulates:

to. The unity of all life.

b. The gradual stages of development, recognized in man, and those of his program of studies, which lead man from one expansion of consciousness to another, is enough to achieve what we call perfection.

C. The relationship that exists between the micro and the macrocosm and its sevenfold application.

d. The method of this development and the place occupied by the microcosm within the macrocosm, revealed by studying the periodicity of any manifestation and the basic law of cause and effect.

The emphasis placed on the formation of character and spiritual development, as the basis for the development of all the powers inherent in the microcosm.

The requirements demanded of all affiliated disciples without exception, so that - the life of internal development and development goes hand in hand with a life of exoteric service.

The successive expansions of consciousness, resulting from the training given, taking man step by step to make contact with his higher Self, his Master, his egoic group, the First Initiator, the Only Supreme Initiator, until he reaches the Lord of his Ray and enters in the bosom of his "Father who is in heaven."

These are the outstanding characteristics that describe the true and only fundamental school.

This school has three main branches and a fourth is in the process of formation, so that the four branches of this fourth round will be constituted, and are the following:

1. The branch of Trashimalaya.

2. The branch of southern India (these are Aryan branches).

3. The branch that works with the fourth root race, and has as guides two adherents of the fourth root race.

4. The branch in the process of formation, which will have its headquarters in the West, in an undisclosed location. Its main objective is to instruct individuals linked to the coming sixth root race.

These branches are and will be closely inter-linked and will work in close collaboration, being controlled by the Chohan and focused on Shamballa. The guides of each of the four branches frequently communicate with each other, being similar to the faculty of a wonderful University. The four schools resemble the different and main departments of a foundation - like subsidiary schools. The purpose of all is the evolution of the race and bring men before the Only Initiator. The methods used are fundamentally the same, although they vary in detail, due to the characteristics of each race and type and the fact that some schools work predominantly with lightning and others with another.

The Transhimalaya school has adherents that they already know, and other Whose names are unknown.

The School of southern India works especially with the devic evolution and with the second and third sub-terraces of the Aryan branch.

The Himalayan school works with the first, fourth and fifth sub-terraces.

The branch of the fourth root race works under the Manu of that race and His brother of the Teaching Ray. Susede is in China.

Master R. and one of the English Masters take care of the group foundation of the fourth branch of the School, with the help of Master Hilarion. Reflect on the facts mentioned, because their meaning is of great importance.

Tomorrow I will take care of the future. Today I have dealt with current events.

September 28, 1920.

Today I will consider the second point. To elucidate it, I will have to go into the field of prophecy. However, I would like to remind you that in predicting what will exist in the future, perhaps what is produced is not exactly as planned. For my part I only intend to give the delineations of a great general plan. The way in which this plan will be developed in the future will depend on the intuition or high perception of race thinkers and the ability of the incarnate egos to seize opportunities and fulfill their destiny. .

Yesterday I tried the true and only fundamental school and its four branches. Today we will try to:

The national subdivisions of the single school.

From the outset it will be noted that not all nations will have their occult school, since this can only be established and founded as the national causal body acquires a certain rate of vibration n. When the educational work of a nation reaches a certain height, the mental group of the nation can be used as a step for further expansion and as the basis of the occult school. It is interesting to note that only nations that originally had mystery training schools (except three) will again have national schools during the early stages. The exceptions are:

1. Great Britain.

2. Canada and the United States.

3. Australia.

These exceptions could be reduced to one, the case of Australia, because the other two, in the Atlantean era, had their esoteric institutions when they were part of the primitive continent. In the turning of the wheel the earth itself reincarnates; the places go into obscuration or pralaya, and return to manifestation, carrying in themselves the seeds of what will vibrate in a similar way over time, bringing similar modes and forms of expression back into existence n.

Later on, it will be seen, when the occult schools are founded, that they will be located in the places where the old magnetism still persists, and in some cases ancient talismans that the Fraternity left for that purpose.

The branches, affiliated with one of the four central divisions of the only esoteric foundation, will exist in the following countries:

1. Egypt. One of the last schools to be founded will be deeply occult and advanced and will be in direct communication with the internal grades. I will discuss this later.

2. United States. He will have a preparatory school, somewhere in the southern central west and a subsidiary occult institute in California, in a place that will be revealed later. It will be one of the first to open when the Great Lord begins His earthly career and probably within five years the seeds will be sown if the students correctly grasp the work to be done.

3. There will be a School for Latin countries, probably in Italy or southern France; but this depends a lot on political and educational work, in the course of the next ten years.

4. Great Britain. In one of the magnetized places in Scotland or Wales, a branch for esoteric training will be initiated shortly and will cover the first degree study program. After a few years of existence, once the effectiveness of the training has been demonstrated and after Ireland has solved its internal problems, a school for grades will be opened there, in one of the magnetized places more advanced that will definitely prepare for the mysteries. In reality, he will train to receive a superior initiation and will be led by the Bodhisattva, preparing the second ray disciple for initiation. The first School of Egypt will be for those who receive the first ray initiation in the West.

Those who receive initiation in the Mahachohan line or in the third ray line will do so in an advanced occult school in Italy. In this way in the West there will be a center where instruction will be given according to the three approach lines and prepare for the internal mysteries.

5. There will also be a preparatory school in Sweden, for the Nordic and Germanic races seeking the path. After existing for some time, Russia will be able to have a seat for a more advanced school, linked to the high school in Sweden. In connection with the Egyptian high school there will be a preparatory school in Greece or Syria.

Therefore, it is planned to establish the schools detailed below, taking into account that firstly the preparatory schools and the first grades will be founded, which are already in the process of formation or will be during the immediate period, preceding the coming of the Great Lord . The foundation of others will come as a result of His work and that of His Masters, and will depend on what they decide and the success of the first efforts.

Preparatory Degrees Advanced schools

1. Greece or Syria, Egypt high school.

2. Central West of the United States California.

3. South of France Italy.

4. Scotland or Wales Ireland.

5. Sweden Russia.

6. New Zealand Australia.

A preparatory school for advanced egos of the fourth root race has been projected. It will be supervised by the Manu of that race and will be located in Japan. with its esoteric branch in western China, constituting the seventh in the group of schools described.

The establishment of branches in South Africa or South America has not yet been planned. The time has not come, but it will come in the next cycle.

I must warn you that these schools will have a very modest start and will be established in such a way that they will seem too insignificant to call your attention. There will be a first essay with members of various esoteric schools, such as those in the esoteric section of the theosophical movement and others. The task has already begun in Britain, America and Australia and will soon begin in Sweden. The others will follow shortly.

This part of the Plan has only been allowed to be published as an incentive for those who study with intense aspiration and work hard. Each will have their place in the plan if the necessary work is done, which will consist of:

The effort to recognize the divine within each one. In this way true occult obedience, essential in all occult training, will be encouraged and developed; it will not be based, as is often the case, on personality, but on the instinctive understanding that there is a Master and on the willingness to follow him, as a result of the knowledge of His powers, the purity of His life and goals and the depth of His knowledge.

The effort to think in terms of group and clearly by itself, without relying on others for explanatory explanations.

The effort to purify and refine all bodies and make them trustworthy servants.

The effort to equip the mental body as well as possible and accumulate in it facts about which to expand knowledge.

When such things are done, the opportunity will be great.

October 2, 1920.

Through the rigid discipline imposed by oneself, perfection arrives in a timely manner. Nothing is too insignificant for the disciple, because the goal is achieved through the rigorous adjustment of the details in the life of the lower world. The disciple, when approaching the Portal, leads an increasingly difficult life; vigilance must be stricter, and must act correctly, without considering the consequences, fight with each body and subjugate each of its aspects. Only through the total understanding of the axiom: "Know yourself", comes the knowledge that allows man to apply the law and know the internal mechanism of the system from the center to the periphery. Fight, effort, discipline and dedicated service, with no other reward than the misunderstanding and abuse of those who come behind, is the role of the disciple.

Today I will take care of the third point.

3. The location, staff and building of the occult school.

Of course I remind you that much of what I could say on this subject will be omitted because you cannot understand it. I will formulate certain rules and make certain fundamental indications, which may be applied in the final development. I will not formulate any rule that must be fulfilled, since the occult law is not such. When these occult schools are established, in its two divisions, preparatory and higher, in the various designated centers, dependent on one of the four branches of the true and only Fundamental School of Occultism, work will begin so that it goes unnoticed. Advanced disciples and egos, whose task is to make the necessary preparations, must discover for themselves the method, the place and the procedure. Everything must be forged at the stake of the effort and the experiment, and the price to be paid will be high, because what is obtained, provides the residue or core on which the subsequent work will be based. The errors do not interest, because only the transient personality suffers. The important thing is that there is aspiration and ability to undertake things and ability to learn the lessons that failures teach. When failures are considered as valuable lessons, when error is simply taken as a warning to avoid a disaster and when the disciple never wastes time in vain despair and in useless recriminations, then the Observer Instructors of the race know that the work that the ego tries to realize through each aspect of the lower plane, advances in the desired way and that the final success is inevitable. Now I will take care of every point of our subject, as already mentioned.

The location This is something of the utmost importance, but it will differ depending on the place you are looking for, be it for a high school or an advanced school. Generally speaking (as national requirements vary widely), schools for preparatory work will be located at a reasonable distance from some large town or city center, but advanced schools will be more isolated, and will not be so easily accessible.

Let's consider this for a moment. One of the fundamental things that the novice must learn is to discover the center within himself, regardless of what surrounds him, and preferably in spite of it. It is important to discover this center before the disciple can move on to higher grades and work in an advanced school. Above all, high school focuses on the development of the lower triple man, on his training and service. The advanced schools definitely prepare for the Initiation and deal with the occult sciences, imparting cosmic truths, the abstract development of the disciple and work on the causal levels. In one, work can be done better in the world of men and in contact with it; the other necessarily requires an environment of relative seclusion and free of interruptions. It could be better expressed by saying: the preparatory grades deal with the internal kingdom of God, while the advanced ones extend the training to encompass the external kingdom of God. Therefore, the former will be located among the active children of men so that the student can know himself through his reactions or interactions, linking to them in service and effort. The second will be for those who have partially mastered those things and are prepared to learn more about other developments and the cosmos. Until man is largely a master of himself, he cannot work safely, for example, with the devic or angelic evolution. In high school he learns to acquire this domain; in advanced school you can trust other contacts apart from the human. In both the basic instruction is meditation in all its degrees. Why? Because the occult schools never give precise information or instruction or a conglomerate of facts, nor do they use exotic textbooks. The only object is to direct the student to find for himself the knowledge he needs. How? Developing intuition through meditation and reaching some measure of mind control that allows the wisdom of the Triad to descend to the physical brain, see the cause. Therefore, in the preparatory school emphasis will be placed on the meditation that concerns the mind, applying the teaching given in this book. It requires an environment where many and varied human contacts can be made, where the student has at his disposal the concrete knowledge of the world of men (music, libraries, conferences, etc.), because in preparation In order to receive true esoteric training, the primary thing is to equip the student astral and mentally. Once the above is achieved to some extent, and when the clairvoyant guide of the school sees that the circumference of the lower uric egg approaches the expected point, the student will move to a more advanced school and He will be taught to establish contact with the cosmic center from his center, and from the point within himself to expand his consciousness to reach the periphery of the macro-cosmic system and to cover everything live, that is, live in an esoteric sense. This requires, during the training period, relative seclusion, and this will be provided by advanced schools. Therefore, the preparatory schools will be located near some large city, preferably close to the sea or some large area of water, but never within the city; they will be placed in the confines of the study centers within the city, and will be easily accessible. Advanced schools will be far from densely populated places on earth, preferably in mountainous regions, because they have direct influence on the occultist and impart that quality of strength and firmness, their character Predominant aesthetics, which must also be that of the occultist. The sea or the large expanses of water, near the high school, will constantly remind the student of their main work, the purification, while the mountains will instill in the advanced student the idea of cosmic force and will constantly keep before him, the thought of the Mount of Initiation, which he will soon try to ascend.

Estet rmino incluye a supervisores y supervisados.

to.

to. Temporada de estudio.

to.

to. Anatomía, fisiología y biología elementales.

and.

to.

b. Estudio de astronomía y astrología.

C. Estudio de la cosmogonía oculta.

d. Estudio de la jerarquía humana.

and.

to. Estudio del plano mental.

b. Estudio de las leyes del fuego.

C. Estudio del cuerpo causal.

d. Estudio del quinto principio.

and. Estudio del color y del sonido.

Síntesis:

to. Estudio del espíritu-materia-mente.

d. Estudio de las leyes de la unión.

and. Estudio de las leyes del sexo.

Desarrollo síquico:

to. Estudio del ocultismo práctico.

and.

to. Servicio prestado a la raza.

b. Estudio del trabajo grupal.

C. Trabajo de recapitulación.

and.

to.

and.
