"You accept. It's not resignation, but nothing makes you lose more energy than resist and fight a situation that you can't change. ”
Dalai Lama.

Spirituality in the times that run

We live in a time when the pace of life advances by leaps and bounds. We are increasingly in need of reestablishing the link with ourselves and in this way, with everything that surrounds us and affects us daily. Thus, Spirituality makes its way in response to this search and helps us to balance our body and our mind.

Many people are used to building their life experience taking as a parameter only those things that they can perceive by the senses . This causes a lack of synchrony with our spiritual side. He is more concerned with the meaning of life and the forces that make everything move in the direction in which it does. This imbalance is what causes stress and the famous psychosomatic diseases. In fact, these are nothing more than ailments originated in our mind and inflicted in our body.

Spirituality over time

But this has not always been the case. Ancient civilizations have left us evidence of a great path taken in this regard. And although today the circumstances of life keep us from this contact, in some cultures of the world importance is still attached to the spiritual side of life .

Oriental cultures may be the ones that keep these practices in mind and from which we can learn the most.

It is the Hindu culture that invites us to bring spirituality to all aspects of life. It is governed by four laws that proclaim the acceptance of all circumstances of life as an invitation to learning. And they invite us to deepen our encounter with the forces that determine our existence and that of each being and element that surrounds us.

The four Hindu laws of Spirituality

These laws imply the paradigm that there is no chance, but causation . Everything happens for something and makes sense in itself, regardless of the judgment we can make about it.

Whether you are a person who is very in touch with your spiritual side or if the deepest thing you have done is to light a candle when the light is cut off, putting these four perspectives into practice is a great step in the search for balance.

1. The person who comes into your life is always the right person.

We are sociable beings and we are continually relating to each other. This law implies that every person you come across brings with it the possibility of learning for you.

Everybody. Your family, coworkers, that ex-partner, even those who would give anything to erase from our history. Everyone can become a positive encounter if you learn to identify the contribution that can be made to you.

In addition, this contribution can have multiple forms. It may be a different perspective of a given situation. It may serve as an indicator to start working on a particular aspect of your person, such as patience or active listening. It may bring you closer to understanding and / or accepting the dynamics in which the events of life are independent of your will.

Take the perspective that all contact is a potential teaching, even when the other person does not know.

2. What happens is the only thing that could have happened.

The law is more difficult to apprehend and, in some way, from which the other three laws follow.

It is said that comparison is the mother of suffering . This is so because we tend to compare one thing with another to highlight both what we need and the unfortunate turns in certain events.

Many times we come to create a hypothetical situation in which everything unfolds in a more desirable way and we begin to compare that situation with the real one .

This type of behavior is evident in phrases of the type if only it would have occurred in this way . And it leads us to the search for the guilty, which often falls to God, the universe and even oneself.

Understand that this situation with which you compare does not exist, it never happened. This comparison does nothing but blind you to the teaching that each event has for you. Trust that everything happens for a reason, even if we are not able to understand the why of all things.

Become a humble disciple of what life teaches you .

3. Whatever the moment when something starts, it is the right time.

In the same way, events unfold at the moment in which they have to unfold. Not a second before or a second later.

Every moment in life is a learning and learning is a complex process. You have to understand that each person has their times. These times are personal and particular to each and no one can appreciate more than their own process .

Be patient with yourself, learn from what the present has for you. Only when you have started a new process will it happen.

That the expectation does not prevent you from learning from the current process and get all the juice.

On the other hand, when a new event begins to unfold in your life, do not doubt that this is the moment. Remember that you do not set the rules of the game and trust that now you are prepared to live it, not before.

4. When something ends, it ends.

And there is no reply.

This is the most categorical of the laws. It teaches us to accept that everything in life is dynamic, changes and transforms . The existence of the sensible is called to fulfill a certain cycle, and just as it has a beginning, it has an end.

Detach A closing process results in a new one. The options are to accept this constant change or tie us to a particular situation and get caught in it.

When you refuse to let go, it is when you have the feeling that life stops. You will not be able to resume the advance again until you let go of that which clings.

If you keep your eyes fixed on the past you will not be able to see forward the new growth opportunities that each event offers us.

The Continuous Flow

These four laws invite us to a path of humility and acceptance . We must understand that life unfolds in a unique and wonderful way. We have the enormous capacity and responsibility to witness it.

We are limited beings in our ability to understand the sense in which things flow. At some point we will have to stop believing that we are protagonists of the story.

We are one more dynamic event that flows, changes and transforms. Each one begins when it should begin and has a cycle to complete.

Allow yourself to flow, trust the force that moves everything. Learn, know yourself, grow.

That is the call that life makes to us.
