Choose (The antidote against negligence and personal hell)

  • 2015

Choosing is a divine gift. It is the sacred prerogative with which God has blessed us to recognize our freedom, through which we can develop and become the people we want to become. And through that formation of ourselves, we also attract the doings and possessions that accompany us.

If choosing is a divine gift, we can even say, with your permission, that what prevents us from deciding is the enemy of the divine. And such is the case of negligence.

Negligence is knowing that you have to do something and not do it. Know that you want to say something and shut it up. Know that you must get something for the well-being of your person and yours, and think that you cannot get it. Know who you are and not express it. Negligence is being an almost-person. It is denying yourself and all that you are. It is to cancel the election and cancel yourself.

Negligence acts basically in two different ways: the first is denying the existence of the election and the second is denying our ability to choose or carry out the chosen. In the first case we say that our person and our living conditions are completely formed by what others did or because this is the world; In such cases we think that we are unhappy, poor, ignorant or fat because of our parents, our bosses, the economy, our difficult childhood or our genes. In the second case we recognize that we could do something to change our situation, that there are other people who have changed their life circumstances and that we want something different in ours and, nevertheless, we think that we will not be able to achieve it. We have no faith in ourselves or in life and, again, we place full responsibility for our dissatisfaction in the outside world, with its people and circumstances; or also hiding even from ourselves that lack of faith, telling us that we will do things, but that we will do them tomorrow. In both cases you give up your freedom and your power, deciding to use as a pretext everything that is beyond your control to be as you do not want to be. To not do what you can do and not control what you can do: yourself and everything you believe, say and do.

We remain slaves to inertia because we are used to it and the circumstances to which it keeps us chained. We are used to not having enough energy or misusing it, being unhappy with our work or being angry with our loved ones. Or with whom our "loved ones" should be. The force of habit takes enough force so that we do not question its validity. And each habit has its own rewards (favorable or unfavorable), which we can easily realize by reflecting on it. We see the same in us, we see the same in others and, perhaps, we saw the same in our parents. We get used to not question unhappiness, dissatisfaction, poverty and poor health. The resignation arrived early and we got used to its presence.

But we can free ourselves. Before the frustration of desire was desire. Before the annulment of the person was the presence of our true person. The one whom the Creator blessed and the one who had a job to accomplish. We can be happy being who we are. And we can do what we have always known we should do. Within us, beyond the layer of justifications with which we suppress our ability to choose, are the precise actions that we want to carry out, the just plans for their realization and the power necessary to carry them out. And you won't have to look far. They are right there. You listen to them, you see them and you feel them all the time. It's just a matter of giving them their place. To give you your place. In this life you take something and give up something. You have to give up your excuses to embrace your dreams. Because the only alternative is to give up your dreams to embrace your excuses. And the latter is unworthy of a human being. Be worthy Be truly human. Be free. Be you

We can honor our life diligently. We can choose . We can give our approval to this sublime grace.

You can give yourself a few brief moments, if you want. Listen to yourself Talk to you And take action.

Decide:

Who you are?

Who do you want to become?

What beliefs do you want to harbor?

What words do you want to pronounce or write?

What actions do you want to perform? Which mission? With what service will you earn your money?

That you'd like to have?

I am sure of those who need the intelligence. You have the knowledge, or you can acquire it. Develop a plan to carry them out. Join in the execution of that plan. You will become what you have decided and acted on. You will really live. Don't let your life go by as if you hadn't really been here. Print, paint and capture what you want and what you are. If you are going to sign the work, you also have the right to do it to your liking.

There is a story in which the Devil asks his demons to present plans to bring as many people as possible to hell. There were three devils. The first told him that he could take 50% of all humanity to hell by telling them that there was no good or evil, heaven or hell, meritorious or flawed actions. The second told him that he could take 75% of humanity by telling them that there was good and bad, heaven and hell, truth and lies; but I would also tell you that you should only honor the Creator and your own life a few hours a week in a temple, that the rest of your life could do what you wanted. Finally, the third told him that 100% of people could be taken to hell. The Devil seemed too good to be true, but he listened to the proposal. The third demon would tell them that there was good and evil, heaven and hell, that there were virtuous and harmful actions, that they should act with the intention of benefiting all humanity and living as angels on Earth ... but that they could start tomorrow.

Your life unfolds now. Save yourself from suffering . Be strong and live with joy. Choose.

Many blessings

And a fraternal hug.
