The multiverse in the Hindu religion

  • 2017

Surely, many are struck by attention, but for more than today many scientists seek the explanation of the multiverse, and the Hindu religion spoke of Same dozens of centuries ago . Do you dare to investigate more on this interesting subject? Get ready because the journey starts now.

The theoretical theory of time

Centuries ago since the Hinduists established the theoretical theory of time . Interestingly, this is very similar to what some scientists consider today to be the multiverse.

According to the Hindu religion, there are 4 cycles that reproduce time. These are known as Yugas. The quartet is devised as Aeons, Thetha, Krutha and Dwapara and Kali . They repeat themselves again and again and reproduce in an immortal and eternal dance.

The universe seen from the perspective of the Hindu religion

For Hindus, the universe is a place full of wealth and life . They give a very detailed description where a large number of worlds meet. In all of them many beings intermingle, some living in harmony and others fight each other.

Hindus are also wise astronomers. His enormous knowledge of the constellations and the starry sky are valid even today . In fact, they used to predict that around us there were billions of planetary systems and stars, as has been demonstrated today.

For Hinduism, the Sun was Adhitya. In total, they consider that there are 12 Vishnu and Adhityas. Thus, one of them is the one that emerges every 6480 causing the cycle change or Yuga, which completes something with considered as Great Year .

The multiverse and the Hindus

Although science is not yet clear about an exact concept of a multiverse, as true to its name, there are many theories, some of them do approach the vision that Hindus have.

According to the cosmology of this oriental religion, there is an infinite cycle of worlds . That is why our planet would be just one of those many places around us. In our case, we have our own god and a cycle of destruction and creation.

In addition, Hindus believe that the multiverse in which we find ourselves has four levels . Naturally, each of them has its own characteristics. Let's meet them.

First level

On the first level we find the infinite universe itself . This has its own laws, and there is even the possibility that it contains one or more Lands exactly the same as ours.

Second level

On the second level of the Hindu universe we find distant regions of space . In this case there are also basic laws common to all, but the physical parameters are different.

Third level

On the third level we discover endless parallel universes . A peculiar and complex concept comes into play here. According to Hinduism, every possibility of a concrete universe will make it exist. It is an interpretation very similar to that of current quantum physics.

Fourth level

Everything is possible here. The fundamental physical laws are different because the universes are not connected . So, everything is likely in this part of the Hindu multiverse.

Interestingly, and thousands of years have passed since the Hindus developed their multiversal theories, a good number of current scientists seem to rely on these precepts to establish their own research and progress . Could it be that this ancient Eastern religion knew or saw something that escapes us? How could with the rudimentary methods then establish such advanced ideas? What mystery hides the Hindu multiverse? All these are undoubtedly inspiring secrets for which we have no answer today.
