Wake up: The sleepwalking of Antoni Mello

The Scriptures are always hinting at you, but you will never understand a word of what the Scriptures say until you wake up. Sleeping people read the scriptures and crucify the Messiah based on them. To understand the Scriptures, one must wake up. When you wake up, they make sense. The same as reality. But one can never express it in words. Would you rather do something? But still, we must be sure that you are not acting simply to free yourself from your negative feelings. Many people throw themselves into action, and the only thing they achieve is to make things worse. They do not come from love, they come from negative feelings. They come from guilt, anger, hate; of a sense of injustice, or whatever. You must be sure of your ser before launching into action. You have to make sure who you are before acting. Unfortunately, when sleeping people take action, they simply change one cruelty to another, one injustice to another. And so it is. Meister Eckhard says: It is not because of your actions that you will be saved (or awake, call it what you want), but for your being. He will not be judged by what he does, but by what he is. What is the point of feeding the hungry, of drinking the thirsty or visiting the prisoners?

Remember this phrase from Paul: "If I give my body to the flames and give all my goods to feed the poor and I have no love ..." It is not their actions, but their being that counts. Then you can take action. You can do it or not. You can't decide until you wake up. Unfortunately, all the emphasis is on changing the world and there is little emphasis on waking up. When you wake up, you will know what you should do and what you should not do. Some mystics are very rare. Like Jesus who said something like this: “I was not sent to these people; For now I limit myself to what I must do right now. Maybe later". Some mystics mute. Mysteriously some of them sing. Some of them come to serve. We are never sure; instead, they are their own law: They know exactly what should be done. "Throw yourself into the heat of battle and keep your heart at the feet of the Lord, " as I said before.

Imagine that you do not feel well, and that you are in a bad mood, and that you are taken to a beautiful landscape. The landscape is beautiful, but you are not in the mood to see anything. A few days later you go through the same place and say: “Heavens! Where was I that I didn't realize this? ”All things are beautiful when one changes. You look at the trees and mountains through windows wet from the rain of a storm, and you see everything blurry and formless. You want to go out, and change those trees, change those mountains. Wait a moment, let's examine your window. When the storm ceases and the rain ceases, and you look out the window, it says: "How everything looks different." We do not see people or things as they are, but as we are. Therefore, when two people look at something or someone, two different reactions are obtained. We see things and people not as they are, but as we are.

Do you remember that phrase in Scripture about how all things turn out for the good of those who love God? When you finally wake up, don't try to make good things happen; They just happen. Suddenly you understand that everything that happens is good. Think of some people you live with who would like to change. He finds them in a bad mood, inconsiderate, unreliable, treacherous, or whatever . But when you are different, they will be different. That is an infallible and miraculous cure. The day you are different, they will be different and you will see them differently. Someone who was fearsome before will now look scared. Someone who was once offensive will now look scared. Suddenly nobody will have the power to hurt him. No one has the power to press it. It's something like this: You leave a book on the table and I pick it up and say: “You are pressing me with this book. I have to take it or not take it. ” People live too busy accusing others, blaming everyone else, blaming life, blaming society, blaming their neighbor. You will never change that way; He will continue to live his nightmare, he will never wake up.

Put this program into action THOUSAND TIMES:

a) Identify your negative feelings

b) Understand that they are in you, not in the world, not in the external reality

c) Do not see them as an essential part of the "I"; these things come and go

d) Understand that when you change, everything changes .
