How to detoxify the pineal gland

The pineal gland is a mysterious epicenter of human anatomy, whose sensitive complexity defies current science and stars millenary allusions.

With just 5-8 millimeters in size, the pineal gland is a mysterious epicenter of the human anatomy. Located between the cerebral hemispheres, next to the third ventricle (say a couple of centimeters above your eyebrow, and halfway between your forehead and your neck), is responsible for releasing, among other functions, the hormone known as melatonin. In addition, it has 'photo-sensitive' properties - it uses sunlight to induce mood variations -, so it is essential in the regulation of our biorhythms.

Apparently there are millenary allusions to this tiny organ. Some claim that it is the `` third eye '' or the `` window of Brahma '', constantly referred to in Hinduism, or the `` Eye of Horus '' among the ancient Egyptians. It could also be present in different biblical passages, for example in: So James called that place Peniel, and said es because I could see God, face to face (Genesis 30:32). In the seventeenth century, Descartes assigned him the nickname of the `` seat of the soul '' and according to this dualist, the pineal gland represented the point of union between body and mind .

His background in ancestral mystical traditions has made the pineal gland one of the favorite ingredients of the new mysticism. Multiple concepts of the New Age are associated with the awakening of this organ, and its popularity has increased in the last decade thanks to an overwhelmed burst of N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT) consumption in Pop culture Although it is not yet fully proven, there are good reasons to think that this same substance is secreted in our pineal gland at certain times, for example, our conception and death. It is also associated with phenomena such as lucid dreams and creativity.

Regardless of which nickname we choose for her, or whether or not we believe in some semi-scientific postulates, the truth is that the pineal gland has an exciting, and to some extent enigmatic, role within our physiology. In this sense, despite not being able to fully dimension its importance, the relevance of caring for it is obvious.

Researchers warn a process of hardening, by calcification, of this gland. Factors such as age and exposure to toxic substances, as well as the effects of certain psychological states, for example stress, appear to neutralize the functions of this gland. Multiple habits of the contemporary lifestyle presumably undermine its operation, among them: the consumption of alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, refined sugar, mercury and fluoride, an inevitable ingredient in toothpastes or other detrimental products.

If for intuitive, paranoid or scientific reasons, you feel the call to purify this micro-organ hyper-sacral, apparently the following foods can accelerate the detoxification of your pineal gland, according to the Decalcify Pineal Gland site:

Pure chocolate / Citric acid / Oregano oil and Neem extract / Iodine / Pure apple cider vinegar / Garlic / Tamarind / Distilled water / Vitamins K1 and K2 / Boron / MSM ( Methylsulfonylmethane )

While the alter-nutrition site, Food for Conciousness, recommends concoctions such as “happy tea, ” consisting of St. John's wort and Passionflower. I note that, as indicated by the disclaimers of both sites, these are not medical recommendations. Instead, exposing yourself daily to the sunlight for a few minutes if it has been scientifically proven to stimulate the functioning of the pineal gland as a bio-regulator. There are also various meditations and breathing exercises that supposedly serve to clean and activate this organ, but as is often the case with these issues, the sources are unorthodox, which does not mean that they should be dismissed. I guess this is where our discernment should be activated.
