BIDS, HOMA, INITIATION MANTRA, NAMAKARANA, ETC

Celebrated by Swamis or Brahmin Priests

INITIATION TO MANTRA

Sanskrit, the oldest of human languages, is also known as Devanagari, which literally translated means "language of the gods." It is composed of the primary sounds, which are the actual vibrations born of the object or the action for which it is used. For example, in all languages "ma", or some variation of this sound, means "mother"; This is the sound with which the child naturally calls his mother. Since the words of Sanskrit are the current manifestations of sound, we use them when we sing.

Mantras can be translated but their translations do not have the same power. Sound, composed of vibrations, is energy. A Sanskrit mantra is a mystical energy enclosed in a sound structure. To release the energy of sound, we learn to repeat it with a certain rhythm. When you start repeating a mantra, a specific thought pattern is created. Literally energy manifests.

The name and form are like the two sides of a coin; You can't have one without the other. When you repeat a name, the form comes to mind. Although you consciously do not know the form connected with a certain mantra, a specific thought pattern is created in the mind. The thought patterns created by the mantras are positive, beneficial, reassuring.

There are different levels of sound, the spoken and the silent - the most powerful are the silent. No one sat down and wrote a mantra, just as songs are written. Mantras are energies that always existed in the universe, and cannot be created or destroyed.

They were discovered by some realized saints, who have preserved them to us through the centuries. The science of mantra is accurate, and it is important that you pronounce it correctly. This is the reason why you should be initiated into your mantra by a true spiritual master, preferably by the one you consider to be your guru. He has spent a lot of time studying and repeating the mantra and has gained some mastery over it.

Through initiation, he transmits a portion of this energy to the disciple. It is as if he had given you a candle, and now, through the constant practice of the repetition of the mantra (japa) you can use it to build an intense spiritual fire yourself. Japa will help the mind stand firm. The power of the mantra in this way will lead you to true meditation, to the state of unity with God, to the state of non-duality.

On the physical level too, many benefits of japa are derived. All cells and organs of the body are given deep rest and relaxation. The toxins are eliminated from the body and the nervous system relaxes. The inferior emotions of lust, anger, greed, hatred and jealousy are destroyed and replaced with sattvic (pure) qualities.

Traditionally the Guru or a swami is asked for initiation and is entrusted with the choice of the spiritual name and an appropriate mantra. In the Initiation Puja he dresses in white (the TTC trainees are in uniform - clean and freshly ironed), a purification through the ritual bath is necessary, as well as an offering of flowers or fruits. A 'bad' rosary of 108 accounts will be taken for the post-initiation exercises.

12 MONTHS - 12 TEMPLES - 12 RELIGIONS

24 daily for a month in each Temple

MAY: Hindu Temple of Valencia

Interreligious Meeting Space:

Many were the souls that shared and inherited, in a unique and personal way, this precious legacy that Father Basili gave without reservation. Among them we find all those people who, with our best intention and affection, start this new journey.

In a time when it is so difficult to connect with others, we determine to take the first step. Jointly create a space of spiritual communion for all.

That was how the idea of creating an inter-religious meeting space for all people who expressed interest in spirituality arose.

When this joint initiative was launched, no one was taken by surprise. Simply everyone involved took their place. The following words were already deeply printed in the hearts of all participants:

There is only one religion, love.

There is only one race, humanity.

There is only one language, that of the heart.

There is only one God and it is everywhere.

The natural confluence of different religious leaders, as well as the encounter, kind and peaceful, of the different religions and philosophies took place progressively in a climate of openness, optimism, affection and respect . Finally leading to the start-up of an association: Interfacement Encounter Space Espai Verd, which will be the communication forum where all those who seek the meeting meet Love and the Truth

Thus, as on the threshold of a new era, different religions and philosophies, thinking more about what unites them than what separates them, they decide to open their doors offering, 24 hours a day. For a whole year, a permanent space for prayer and meditation in silence.

In meditation, God speaks and man listens.

In prayer man speaks and God listens.

SS Swami Shivananda Saraswati

Words lead nowhere,

silence leads to peace,

words create confusion,

silence forges souls,

That's why, although I love you all,

I love silence more

to preserve our mutual well-being.

SS Swami Brahmananda Giri

Log Praise of Wisdom:

For there is in it an intelligent spirit, holy, unique, multiple, subtle, agile, insightful, immaculate, clear, impassive, lover of good, sharp, free, benefactor, philanthropist, firm, sure, serene, that everything can, everything controls and penetrates all the spirits, the intelligent, the pure, the most subtle.

For wisdom is more mobile than any movement and, by virtue of its purity, it goes through and penetrates everything.

It is a breath of the power of God, a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty; Therefore, nothing contaminated affects you.

It is a reflection of eternal light, immaculate mirror of God's activity and image of his goodness.

Even being one, everything can; without changing anything, renews the universe; and entering the holy souls in each generation makes friends with God and prophets, for God only loves those who live with wisdom.

She is more beautiful than the sun and surpasses all constellations; compared to the light, it wins, because the light gives way to the night, but evil is not dominated by wisdom. ”
