“The near-death experiences have been scientifically proven,” interviews Pilar Gutierrez

Pilar Gutierrez is a spiritual psychologist and director of the digital portal Hay M s Vida, a space in which she has collected numerous testimonies about near-death experiences. Scientists and doctors add more and more to the theory that these incredible stories may be more than a consequence of the brain's chemical substances seconds before die. Is the debate served, science or fiction?

You have created the digital platform There is more life, of the testimonies that you have been able to collect, can you tell us what common denominator exists among all those who have crossed the borders of life?

All those who have experienced clinical death have had a vision of their whole life in the form of a movie, the truth is that the processes are different. Some see their whole life pass, others see how a light and tunnel appear from above, this is common. But above all they speak of a sense of peace that floods them in the presence of a being that many define as god. The people who have returned describe a peace that they have never known and that surpasses all understanding, it is something that makes them understand everything, they understand the meaning of everything and that everything is fine. They become aware of themselves, see their own life, and know who they are.

Listening to that can make anyone's hair stand on end. What is the case of Near Death Experience that has overwhelmed you the most?

Without a doubt that of Gloria Polo. It is an incredible case, this woman was twice dead, had the experience of heaven and belonging to "everything." This lady was struck by lightning and her whole body was burned when she reached the operating room. She was clinically dead for 30 minutes, nobody has been so long, however she managed to survive. He tells that he saw the famous tunnel with the light in the background, related that he was in a place where there was a great feeling of peace. On his return to life Gloria felt that she had to tell the world what she felt she was predestined for what she believes was resurrected. Now it gives congresses all over the world and in March of this 2014.

Also, the case of a Havard neurosurgeon who was in a coma for 7 days, Eben Alexander, is one of the best-told stories of a Near Death Experience, the evidence he presents is overwhelming.

On the digital platform Hay Más Vida ensures that Near-Death Experiences is a scientific fact, but the truth is that even the scientific community finds no consensus on this issue. Will we witness the confirmation by science that death is just a door that leads to another dimension still unknown?

I think that more and more scientists and doctors are increasingly accepting through patient testimonials that these experiences may be more than the product of our chemicals in the brain. In the United States there are already two open and subsidized investigations by the state that study these phenomena, it is the Omega Project and the Immortality Project.

We have heard of numerous testimonies in other countries, and in Spain? Do you know if the medical community is investigating these cases in patients who have lived an NDE?

In Spain we are still virgins in these investigations, there is still a way to go.

Pilar, you call yourself a spiritual psychologist, what does this mean?

In my therapies I apply a maxim "you have to live with meaning because that sense is what gives the peace of all things." The spiritual vision in psychology is fundamental. We must understand that this life is a process of consciousness. We ourselves have to realize and it is in that “realize” when we can understand the meaning of our existence.

I think that most psychologists are at ground level, spiritual vision is not taken into account. Healing through pills is not entirely the solution for our mental health.

Could you give practical advice to live positively and less anxious?

Look up and focus on the desires of your heart. A psychologist is not necessary to access the spiritual level of life. I invite everyone to tune in "the radio", as soon as they find that spiritual frequency that gives meaning to everything, they will see how things will start happening in their lives.
